ok. so abbey, one of my oldest sl pals, has this obsession with polariods and ataris. she bought an rl polaroid. and then decided sl seriously needed an atari 2600. ok, so all well and good, but then she made the mistake of showing it to me. Oh course i said wow, we could like stream youtube on that and like make it look like you are really playing, and she said, wow and then you could like have lots of 80’s tv shows and watch them, and as things usually are when we collaborate. the project turns in to a huge monster. you tube to sl is an inexact science to be polite about it. im sure the google execs felt their ears burning a lot last weeken
we were beating our heads against the wall till i was at Mystical Cookies show and tell sunday, and one of her friends jorgen did a show and tell of his youtube controller. Just what we needed, so jorgen redid our script, and did a lovely job i may say, and now we have tv.

abbey did a couple custom animations for the game console. shes like that. we added 9 games from the original 2600. god these old games are so lame. i mean. its a long journey from super break out to portal. we included… battle zone, super breakout, galaxian, ice hockey, pacman, asteroids, superman, berzerk, and zaxxon.
it comes with a atari 2600 console, an 80’s tv, a bunch of 80’s rec room paraphernalia, and all the retro coolness you could ever want.

as you can see, abbey is also selling this under the name of her new shop tosche station. well, i mean, if i can listen to a band named eisley, i guess i can handle that. but i wont promise not to smirk.
