ok how do you deal with a building project that never ends and is never finished? well, if you are me, you say the hell with it, and move in anyway.

so…
the SMERSH mainstore moves from its old digs in the power station, right down the street to the um, cavern of retail. we go from a cute little bit of homey squalor that weve just outgrown to the largest store in the universe, that will take us centuries to fill, on iron fists historic ladies mile.

the celebrate this historic occasion, we are gonna do…
um, nothing.

ok, well what i will do, is tomorrow only dec 30, ill put out our new product, “cuba, 1952″, which we havent even put on sale yet.

anyway, if you see me in there ocd-ing on some teenie bit of prim work no one is gonna notice anyway, say hi.

if you care about the history stuff, my new shop is based on the buildings of new york citys historic ladies mile, an area of 6th avenue from the golden age of the department store, where stores vied to be the largest, to have the most varied inventory and stuff like that. basicily the start of all that crass over bearing commercialism that weve all come to expect and love. the outside has a bit of the erich brothers department store seen on 20th street and 6th ave. the inside is a bit of this and that from segal cooper on 18th and 6th, and the ladies pavilion of the 1893 columbian exhibition, and um, my twisted imagination. sorry.

anyway, the new one has way more attitude, and essential quantity in any successful predator. you can see him out in my main store, and ive included, as i did with the last version, a non laser shark, in case you feel the majesty of laser shark too intimidating. or something.

The shark. the fearsome king of the ocean. the apex predator of the deep. hes got teeth. he bites. Yeah well sorry. thats just not good enough for the space age.  i mean anything can just swim around and bite stuff, you know? but lasers, baby.  thats the kinda thing that will make any erstwhile sub-oceanic neil armstrong blow his lines.

so anyway, the shark with f.l.b.o.i.h. it had to be made, it would be made, and it was made. well, remade, this time with all the sculptasticness that was just a glimmer in hippy philip lindens reefer  reddened eye, back when we made the first shark. uh like 2 years ago.

in any event, we have the shark with a frickin laser on its head.  no evil secret lair should be without one.

SMERSH the SD series-

the asses asked. the buttocks begged. the hinders hinted. the derierres demanded. well,  you get the idea- more stuff to sit on.

the round floor cushion has 2 poses. one bored, and one incredibly bored.
hit page up or page down to pick. sculptingly sculptivated from the sculptilicious sculpted prim,  oh, you get the idea. click the cushion for a choice of 9 colors.  custom sit animations by flopsie mcardle. thats me dammit. and oh… butt dents.

the ottomans each have one custom pose, and a choice of 6 colors.   and butt dents.  all the cool kids are putting butt dents i their furniture.

poopy leans more toward the earth tones, with a pose desperately trying to fain interest in that long pointless story your uncle is telling. fire engines? you dont say?

dopey is more martha stewart in rehab for  its color theme, and the pose… well if you were playing charades, the phrase would be ‘existential angst’

i stared at lot today, and this is the result. i seem to spend half the time of each project staring. and its cuz im deep, dammit. not flakey.

a new product.its one of those mod fireplaces they used to put in rec rooms, well except this ones been all yupificated, in that its satinless steel instead of enameled metal. lets see… it does all the stuff a fireplace should- smokes, glows, encourages bonhomie among the rabble, all that good stuff. we have a neat fire thing that i got from this fellah TerdNerd Barbosa. it makes a nifty effect. and of course we had to do sculptie logs. i mean, cmon.

click this sucker and the fire lights up, the chimney smokes, the fire pixies make with the glowie. click again and you have a nice clean fireplace with unburnt logs.

thanks apatia, for posing in your bondage gorean track suit.you will kinda have to read the notecard to find about about the gor jokes. or ask appy. she knows all about gor. she took a class.

The latest from SMERSH-

back in the day, when you had a bank, you had to show that you had lots of cash and that you were not going anywhere. this was back before deposit insurance, when if a bank died, you lost everything. so they made the buildings as fancy and imposing looking as they could. so even the people in the cheap seats would be impressed. any way. the Smersh bank is kind from the time at the tail end of that era, just before the great depression showed how looks dun mean much to banks. whatever. screw the history lesson.

The SMERSH bank is intended to be one of those old bank buildings that sit vacant for years till some yuppie comes along and makes it into a trendy boutique or snotty cafe. you know the kind, where they have infusions instead of tea. i like tea. you can drink it when you arent drinking coffee.

ok also, i did a bunch of freebies for one of my clients, and cuz i lurve you better than them, ill pass one along to anyone in the SMERSH group. this is a wind turbine. rez it on the ground and it will follow the wind, and maybe show that you dont think sending bulldozers through wildlife refuges is necessarily the best way to deal with high oil prices.  uh yeah thats politics. no, im not a hippy.

it seems my fancy non group/ group thing isnt doing it job, and people arent getting my notoces and freebies.contact me if you are on the list and arent getting the swag, and ill send it the ol d fashion way.

yeah so. thats the last two months of my life, which means the project was 7 1/2 weeks longer than my attention span. jorgen fris, who helped code the atari, did a great job with the freakishly complex scripts involved. like uh, databases and stuff. jorgen tried to explain, but..

also, i used a ton of animals form animania, plants from heart and we had a few late night raids on botanicals too. and thanks to all my friends that gave advice, and listened to me whine when i got stuck, and were very polite when i made them look at sculptie wind turbines.

tree heaven is only open to enelpark forestry project contest winners, but lemme know and ill sneak you in. just pretend you are italian.

release keys is evil. hi-yeah, im bugging you again. its my job.

if any of you have ever hit the annoying poorly placed and useless release keys button by accident, vote on this jira. ha.  the only argument ive heard in favor of it is when you are in your furry yiffer bondage lean-to, and you want out of those cuffs fast, you hit that. and this is a situations all of us are in a lot, right? i mean its a matter of life and death here, so hitting detach just isnt quick enough.  yeah thats sarcasm. i guess you can tell how i feel about the subject.

i, and everyone i know hits it often enough to be really annoyed when we are aiming for stand.
